Neilsen Grove is the newest-feeling part of Ladner. Homes here are smaller on average than the rest of South Delta and the median asking price sits below most of it, which makes this one of the more attainable ways into the area.
It is also the least served for amenities of any pocket on this site — around a dozen shops and services within a ten-minute walk, against a hundred in parts of Tsawwassen. A park and a couple of restaurants are the extent of what is on foot. If walkability is what you are after, look at Ladner Village instead.
What buyers get in exchange is newer housing stock and lower maintenance than the older parts of South Delta, which for a lot of people is the whole point.
Neilson Grove Elementary and Delta Secondary serve the area.
